If you are in the internet business owner you might own some domains names and then you need to have a valid email for that domain. On that email address you probably will have spam email daily because people can get your email from the whois.org

The best thing you can do is to create a separate Gmail account for your domains and then use that as the domain email. Gmail is the best free email provider by far and gives you the best spam protection of all free email services. Then the spammers will not bother your real account; just remember to check for emails from the domain register once in a while. You need to verify your domain address at least one time per year and if you don’t you risk losing your domain.

If you have anything else then a dot com domain you probably will get loads of people spamming you about buying the dot com when it expires from the former owner. They will ask for 200 UDS or even more but do not bother with that just buy it yourself when it expires. Your real domain provider probably has a cheap tool for you to handle this from your own account.
You will also get emails from people trying to trick you to paying more money then you should for your domain name. They will get your email from your Who is information and they have advanced programs tracking you down. Some will even send you a real snail mail letter or even call you, just ignore them. Just stick with your first domain registry company and just ignore all other offers they are just scams.

The domain name www.yourdomainname.com is about to expire 2009-11-29.

If you wish to continue using your domain name please click on the link below.

scamcompany/for.php?d=www.yourdomain.com

Once the payment has been completed the above mentioned domain name will automatically be renewed and a conformation will be sent.

________________________________________
If you wish to assign ISPRenewal to extend your domain, please click on the link above. If you do not not wish renew your domain, you may disregard this e-mail. Note! No changes will be made in the WHOIS information if you choose to your domain with us. You will still have your current Domain Service Provider. You may also request your resent Domain Service Provider to extend your domain. If you have any enquiries, do not hesitate to contact our customer service center at +44(0)20 33 55 4951 visit us on the web.

This companies have nothing to do with your domain they are just fraud and your normal domain name should never cost more than $ 15 but domain hosts like Go Daddy cost as little as $6.
Another thing you should think about when it comes to domain names is to never ever register the domain free with your server company. It sounds like a great offer that they will give you a free domain but remember they will own the domain and they can if they want sell it back to you for a very expensive price. Some server company’s simple keeps the domain and never give it back to the real owner. Tiger Host and Geek Hosting are two of these companies that charge over $ 24 if you want your domain back and then never send it back to you even if they got money.
