Symantec confirmed vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat and Reader and said it was being exploited by a Trojan called Trojan Pidief.H.

If the email is opened the virus will attack the Adobe Acrobat reader if you have that installed. But the risk that you will have the Adobe Acrobat and click on the email attachment is very low.
Affected software is Reader 9.2 and earlier for Windows, Macintosh, and Unix, and Acrobat 9.2 and earlier for Windows and Macintosh, Adobe said. The company recommended disabling JavaScript to protect the system.

The virus attacks computer with the system Windows 98, 95, XP, Windows Me, Vista, NT, 2000 and Server 2003 installed.
This July the same program had a problem with its flash and it could be attacked with a virus as well. Keep your programs updated at all times and keep updating your version of windows.

The Trojan might crash your computer when it tried to take over your computer so if you computer crashes after clicked on a email you might have a virus. Now at holiday times the hackers sends more virus then ever before.
