Dear Phil,

Thank you for sharing us your experience. The IP Address is African and probably Nigerian. I strongly recommend you to report this to abuse@hotmail.com so that they could close your account to prevent the Nigerian spammer to contact your friends.

I am sure you already have but if not, if you have another address book that contains your contacts on your Hotmail and Facebook account that were hacked, it would be really great if you could notify all of them about this and tell them to disregard the mails and that everything is not true for your accounts were hacked and if they could possibly give their time of day, to mark or report them as spam or as a hacker.

On Facebook, it would need more than one person to report a Facebook account to be hacked and for them to take action.
I hope this helps you Phil and I hope everything works out.

Sincerely,
Webmaster

Subject: Sgt Garcia Simpson [larrykings@blumail.org]

Body:

Hello Friend, I hope my e-mail meets you well. I am in need of your assistance. My names are Sgt Garcia Simpson of the Engineering Unit of US Military here in Ba’qubah in Iraq; we have about $10 Million that we want to move out of the country. This money was found in boxes some time ago during our routine raid around the base. My partner and I need a good partner out there, someone we can trust to receive the funds on our behalf. It is oil money and legal. The most important thing is; “Can We Trust you”? Once the funds get to you, simply take out 20% as your share and keep the remaining 80% for us. Your own part of this deal is to find a safe place where the funds can be sent to, ours is sending it to you safely.

Also you can view this Link for proper verification http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2988455.stm If you are interested I will furnish you with more details upon receipt of your response and contact details. But I can assure you the whole process is simple and we must keep a low profile at all times. I look forward to your reply and co-operation.

We have kept this money for so long but right now President Obama said he is pulling us out from Iraq so I must have this cash out immediately.

Regards,

Sgt Garcia Simpson.

Dear Debbie,

Thank you for sharing us your story. There sure are a lot of internet scam around and we are very glad that you found us and chose to entrust us with your problem. These internet renegades should definitely be reported to the FBI so that they could be traced and apprehended. However sending a report to abuse@domainname.com would also help shut down the account.

As much as possible, do not open mails from this e-mail address. Most likely I am sure you know when you are expecting a parcel or not to be delivered to you or that you missed any. I know this would be a bit inconvenient on your part but it is the best option thus far.

These spam mails are very tricky like that and that’s how they get to fool people because they could let themselves look like legitimate e-mails just so you would open them.
Sincerely,

Webmaster

I recieved and email from this email address:
UPS Parcel Delivery [client@ups.com]
When I select reply this is the email address that appears
fungicidesyrq7@rathi.com
This happened one other time and when I opened it thinking it was from
UPS I contracted a computer virus. Below is the what is in the body of
the UPS email. Not sure who to report this to, so I surfed the
internet and found your site.

Good afternoon.

Your parcel has arrived at the post office on October 7. Our Driver
was unable to deliver the parcel to your address.
To receive a parcel you must go to the nearest UPS office and show
your mailing label.
Mailing label is attached to this letter.

You need to print mailing label, and show it in UPS office to receive
the parcel.

Thank you for your attention.
